Bio
Over the last few years, actress Jennifer Johnston has not only made herself known as the sultry voice behind many commercials but has also caught the attention of many with her appearances in television and film projects.
Strong from her acting and voice training with authorities like Jean-Pierre Bergeron, Danielle Fichaud, Jacqueline McClintock and internationally renowned Warren Robertson (who trained stars like Jessica Lange, Viggo Mortensen & Andy MacDowell to name a few) and from her workshops in screenwriting, Jennifer started working on sets in 2002. She made the jump in front of the camera for the series Les Poupées Russes and Histoires de filles and the short film Charlie/Rose playing Rose. She has been quite busy since her participation in 2004 in Les Bougon, followed by her collaborations on several other series such as Virginie, L'Auberge du Chien Noir, Les Ex, Au Nom de La Loi and Les Soeurs Elliott. Jennifer also enjoys performing on stage, like it was the case with Adieu Beauté: La comédie des horreurs, which she considers to have been a great experience. She was in the summer 2005 blockbuster Horloge Biologique (Dodging The Clock) and more recently in the critically acclaim series Providence. You will see her again this winter in the series Trauma and in Paul Barbeau's directorial debut in the independent feature, Après La Neige (Winter Passed). She is currently working on her first short film as a screenwriter. |
